1. Look at the bells on those pants.
I never wore bells, my pants were straight.

8. Hell, no. I didn't dress like that, even in the 1970s.
Nor did I have the styed hair or the patent-leather shoes. I've always been out of style.

9. Hell no -- you were in style.
That's the way most of us dressed for casual occasions and even for some jobs.

11. I like the haircuts. You know, Three's Company was and is still one of my fave shows.
Didn't see a lot of bell bottoms on that show, but there were some. But from most of the everyday fashion I see on that show, I could wear the male stuff. Most of it. Well, some of it. Not the bell bottoms though. Time has moved on as far as those things go, for sure.

12. Fuck no. I vote for them dressing like men in the 40s.
Polyester doesn't do anything for me.

Trench coats and fedoras, on the other hand....:9

My second choice would be the mid-60s. Pegged jeans and Beatle boots are good.

Third choice? 1860s. You can't go wrong with a good frock coat.

15. "Excuse me, my chest itches. Let me take off my belt."
Like a cheap hotel - no ballroom.

Owen Wilson on the right there looks like he has protruding eggs down there.

18. I had the most unbelieveably ugly lime leisure suit.
I thought it was the coolest thing ever
I have seen it in pictures.
Every time I wore that suit,
I should have worn something else.

19. Damn right. And I'm actually prepared to do it on 15 minutes notice.
I collect vintage menswear, I wear it in public any time I get a chance,
and I have some very primo pieces from the '70s.
