What's for breakfast, Lounge Lizards?
I had a mushroom and cream cheese omelet with 6 fresh strawberries on the side (my Atkins breakfast)
and I'm making my second cup of tea.

Went out to check the garden before breakfast - have some ripening tomatos and buds on the pumpkin vines, figs coming along fine.

Have a great day.

8. ah, but it was my duty to eat that last english muffin...
my husband is avoiding carbs for the next week or two, so you see, I *had* to eat the last english muffin, if only to remove temptation :D

And, I am daily thankful that my parents gave me their super-quick metabolisms. Within reason, I can eat anything - even as I enter middle age - and not gain weight. Bless them.

12. Native strawberries!
I won't eat those tasteless strawberries sold at the supermarket year-round. So I only get strawberries one month out of the year. They cost more than twice as much as the ones at the supermarket but they are worth every penny. After breakfast I went back to the farm stand and bought two more quarts. Life is good.

21. The usual Sunday breakfast...
An egg, over easy, a Morningstar Farms "sausage" patty, and a high-fiber, reduced calorie English muffin. Oh, and coffee. I sometimes vary how I cook the egg, what kind of fake meat I have, and more often than not, I have toast instead of the English muffin.
