My real kind of dog was mid-size, long-haired. I'm old and have tiny ones.

And they are lovable. But I need a real dog, yet know as the years continue the care needs will outrun my capabilities.


The tiny dogs can't even be walked down the street. They tire out faster than I.


I miss a real dog.



What if I adopt an OLD dog at the dog-jail (the "humane" society). Will that work? Sort of a hospice deal. Till I give out.

1. What about a timeshare?

In addition to my big girl, I have a 50% share in Mom's black Lab mix. She's a senior but she still keeps up with my youngster. I take care of her in the afternoon and anything she needs at night. She warms up the studio. She goes home in the morning. Works pretty well except the neighbors talk.
