I lost my wallet sometime recently. I discovered I didn't have it this afternoon, while making a minor purchase. Fortunately, I had a few dollars loose in my pocket

I spent a hour today looking for the sucker. It wasn't anywhere it was usually.

But simple logic helped find it. Reasoning brilliantly as follows -- If I put it somewhere, it was in my hand, so I should look places my hand might have been near -- I thought through the places that my hand might have been near, searched them, and found my wallet -- in the kitchen garbage can!

Eat your hearts out, all you who lack such investigative talent! Yes, I might be a frickin moron, who throws my wallet into the kitchen garbage can, but in a deductive tour de force, I can find the thing again
