I just checked-the perfect game in '09 was against the Rays, too!!!! Is that a record?

First team to have two perfect games thrown against them in consecutive years.

And it's not like they're the Washington Natinals, either.

5. You read my mind; was about to post a question in the sports forum if it'd be OK
to repost this in the lounge or even GD. I'm so glad this young man now has a wonderfully happy memory of Mother's Day to go along with the sadness of losing his mom to cancer as a teenager .

6. Just watched the last out on MLB.com ...not sure re: copyrights if I can copy and post here
but couldn't keep my eyes dry as I watched he and his grandmother hugging on the field.( I lost my mom to cancer at the same age he lost his)
