Just look at all the pharmaceutical companies that are willing to give people the first dose.

It's an absolutely true fact that all pharmaceuticals are 100% toxic and cause death 100% of the time, especially when the slimy allopathic doctor who prescribes them gets a big, fat kick-back from the manufacturer, and especially when prescribing them for those artificial diseases created by Big Pharma, such as fibromyalgia and restless leg syndrome.

5. Not sure that it's irony, but I get your point.
Every cable company on the planet (to name just one industry among countless) will offer reduced-rate service for several months, after which they jack up the price.

It's unfortunate, but it's been an aspect of legal business practices for many, many decades.
