A poem about eternal love.
A Perfect Moment

She lies there
with her head
resting upon my hip,
those big brown eyes
of hers
gazing up into mine.

Smiling, I reach down
with my hand,
fingers running
through her hair
and on down
to gently stroke
her back.

She sighs
and begins to wag
her tail.

My puppy girl
loves me
and I'll love
my puppy girl

forever.
