Lets go girls, get in the car we are going for a ride

Where we going dad? We are going to drive with your mother outside of town and watch the sun set in about 15 minutes together.

Oh, dad. I don't want to go. My show is coming on. I am waiting for a phone call. I don't want to go.

We went. And the girls were grumbling about having to go in the back seat of the car the entire time.

My daughters were 13 and 15 years old when that happened. That was almost 20 years ago.

Never fails when we are all sitting around together reminiscing about the old days they both bring up this one incident as one of the most memorable and enjoyable things in their childhood.

It doesn't take much. Just got to use a little imagination.
