WARNING! Cute kid story ahead, from Cheri of Apple Valley: "My 22-month-old grandson, Eli, when frustrated with the person present, always wants someone else. One day, I was babysitting and had taken a pen away from him. He was most unhappy, and the whiny litany began...

"Eli: 'I want Mommy.'

"Me: 'She's working at North Memorial.'

"Eli: 'I want Daddy.'

"Me: 'He's working at Augsburg College.'

"Eli: 'I want Auntie Annika.'

"Me: 'She's doing research in New Guinea.'

"Eli: 'I want Obama.'

"And what do you say to that? I guess he figured it was bad enough that he needed to go right to the top!"
