what do you think of tatooed eyebrows?
a friend just posted a pic of her eyebrows on Facebook and I didn't know what to say. One is longer than the other, but she is very proud of them. what is weird is that she is not a make-up wearing person. she does wear it, but very little. She's always been sort of wash and wear type of person, but now she is in the political spotlight.

She's 47 and has had the same high school hairstyle. I guess someone is trying to gussy her up, but i wish she had not gone the chola route.

1. They don't look very natural to me, but to each their own.

2. I knew someone who tattooed lipstick on her lips
It looked as if she was simply wearing lipstick. She was very blond and she said without lipstick she looked colorless. With it she looked very nice. I also know someone with tattooed eyebrows and they look OK. She has black hair and is olive skinned so her black eyebrows look OK. But they're shaped well. I think it depends on the tattoo work.

3. I hate unnatural eyebrows, mainly because...
I can't help but stare at them when I'm talking to the person.

I can't help it!

9. That was quite a sight!
Yikes! I think it's better to be lazy and not do anything about your eyebrows than it is to radically change them.

5. I think she's going to have to get them redone every five years or so
The very worst thing you can do to a tattoo is keep it in the sun all the time, because UV fades them. Facial tattoos are ALWAYS in the sun, so they fade--worse, they tend to turn this ugly reddish-brown.

Everyone I know who's had her eyebrows done so she won't have to pencil her brows in, within five years (sometimes as short as three) they're either back to penciling their brows or they get them re-tattooed.

7. i've seen a couple of women with green eyebrows
maybe the ink used wasn't good? don't know nothing about no tattoos. I would be concerned about the droop factor. where will those eyebrows be in 20 years?

14. The removal of one's eyebrows, only to have them replaced with makeup or ink
is just ridiculous. Always! Period!

That said:

His

and hers

need a bit of serious maintenance.
