6. We got a good foot of snow last night here in northern NM.
It's gorgeous this morning.

I had to drive from Santa Fe to Pecos in an almost total whiteout. Worst winter driving I have ever experienced.

10. I *wish* my spring looked like that. We got very little snow and it all melted last week, so I have
two months of brownout to look forward to until the lilacs bloom in June.

13. Cutie!
It's hard when the snow comes after the daffodils bloom. Fortunately, my daffodils know better than to show their little green sprouts until well into April. :)

11. We've had a cool (60's daytime temps), VERY rainy winter...
.
...here in Tucson. We DESPERATELY need rain-rain-rain.
.
Possible drawback? All this rain is encouraging "undergrowth" growth so, if we
don't have a rainy Spring to follow it... we'll have tons and tons of dry tinder
and kindling and the potential for a HORRENDOUS wildfire season again.
.
Our desert is NOT the Sahara. Lots of plants and grasses and such -- not to
mention forests in the higher elevations.
.

14. Dallas area is 32 degrees...and snow tonight
Edited on Sat Mar-20-10 03:59 PM by rainbow4321
It was 70 yesterday. Was kinda weird last night when it was still a balmy 60-some degrees and our local paper had our county as being under a winter storm advisory for today.
