5. Shit. You just reminded me of a 70's TV show called "Run, Joe. Run".
It was about a german shepherd that showed up, saved everyone, and then had to run to get away from some asshole who was trying to catch him. Sort of like the first season of Kung Fu in that respect.

6. Sounds like someone's got the RUNS.
Well, I picked Woody, but was disappointed last year when I bought and watched Take the Money and Run--it's not nearly as funny as I recalled it from my youth.

7. Agreed...I watched it about a year ago and had the same reaction
Of course, at the time it was released, it was fresh and new, but that style of comedy has been so overdone in the decades that followed.

I felt the same way about "Kentucky Fried Movie"...although it is still pretty damned funny.

15. I agree. It was Woody's first effort as director and it showed. His second
film - "Bananas" - is far, far better (in fact, it remains my favorite of his films before "Annie Hall").

a spaceship load of the last trees and plants from earth after they are ordered to blow them up and come back empty.

Real late '60-early '70's period piece, good movie.

Here's a trailer from the film:

9. I forgot about that one...
...I've seen it, and I enjoy pretty much all of the movie's Dern has starred in.

ESPECIALLY "Middle Age Crazy"...the only reason I can think of for why that never made it to DVD is the music, some licensing rights issue...his classic line in that movie "I never wanted to be the daddy" was about as honest and naked as it gets.

18. The only reason not to vote for Midnight Run is if you haven't seen it.
It's as funny as any movie I've ever seen.

21. Give him a pencil, please. Do the litmus configuration. You're doing the litmus configuration?
- Litmus configuration.

You seen any suspicious-looking characters around here?

Do you live around here?

- Yeah.

How's it look?

- This one's bad.

Describe what the last man who passed a $ bill looked like.

- Thirty. Tall.

About six feet tall?

- Six-five.

Dark brown hair?

- Light colored.

Sounds like our man.

- That's him.

We have to take these bills for evidence. Make 'em a receipt.
