Average price for website development?

What does a website run these days? For, say, a site with 8-10 pages that will keep track of inventory and handle on-line purchases?

Thanks for any input! :hi:

1. I'd have to guess maybe 200 up front and 150 a month ?
Varies, but I have a commercial website with 5 pages capability ( I use three) and it cost 100 a month plus a setup of like 60 bucks.....

4. Yeah, webdesign is getting cheap
They use pretty stock formats but you do get a wide choice and you can add any copy you want; or they can write it for you.

Check my site out ; it was done by web.com and I'm very happy with the results.

2. At GoDaddy you can run a small e-commerce site for $15/mo.
That gets you 10GB of space (with 100 e-mail accounts) ($5) and 20 items using QuickStore (e-commerce) ($10).

If you need more, 150GB of space jacks it up to $7/mo. and a 100 item store is $30/mo.

Unlimited space is $15/mo and an unlimited store is $50/mo.

Regardless of the plan, a domain registration (.com) is $10.69/yr. Some of the other top level domains are cheaper (.info, .biz, etc.)

You can start small and bump up the plan at any time. I've used them for a couple years and my dad has used them for longer. The tech support is excellent.

The QuickStore also includes templates for putting your site together so you don't have to be a developer to use it.

Good luck!

6. To paraphrase Eddie Murphey (from his 2nd crew SNL days)...
"GoDaddy been berry berry good, to me."
