I love my partner.
She's on the phone with her cousin Missy, and she just said, "but I'm your person. I'm who you should talk to when things like this happen."

Mrs. V. is one of the few rocks in her family. (Missy is another.) She is relied upon by so many of her family members that I know the weight is very heavy on her. Yet she keeps giving, with her whole heart.

Whatever it was that brought us together - fate, god, karma, or just benevolent coincidence - I am deeply grateful.

I love my beloved.
