Tim Tebow needs a Bible lesson
When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, who love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on street corners so that others may see them. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward.

But when you pray, go to your inner room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will repay you.

In praying, do not babble like the pagans, who think that they will be heard because of their many words.

Do not be like them. Your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

Somehow, I have a hard time seeing Jesus approve of this sort of thing:

4. He'll play in the NFL and make a lot of money.
Who knows how far he'll go. I agree with you.

5. No he won't
UF quarterbacks have an atrocious track record in the NFL (remember Danny Wuerffel?). Tebow is a product of Florida's offensive scheme, and won;t last as a pro. If he were with Texas Tech, he'd already be written off as a gadget player with inflated stats. Since he plays for ESPN darlings, he's hyped beyond all reason.

6. I tend to agree
He doesn't have the traditional QB skills to play full time at the NFL level.

He'll hook on as an athletic backup somewhere though.

11. They were talking about that on PTI.
The Wildcat offense is Tebow's best entree to the NFL.

8. Actually he/she is right
He will play in the NFL and will make a lot of money, no less than $600,000(he'll make more than though) is a lot of money, a year for a 3 or 4 year contract.

The second part is also true. Who knows how far he will go? We can make all kind of predictions but that's what they are, predictions. None of us really know because we aren't there yet.

7. I probably wouldn't have cared until i read this
Tebow is carrying water for his father, who is an extreme right wing evangelical.

12. I saw that the other day
Apparently, Catholics have never been introduced to Christ, which comes as a bit of a surprise, to be perfectly honest.

15. Lots of things I could say, but these crazies will still be crazy
I will refute them when confronted, but wish them to leave me alone. I just wish they would fulfill what the Christ of the bible says to do - treat others like you want to be treated, but that appears to be too complicated.
I am getting more and more cranky about religion.

i immediately thought, if these gator footballers are such christians, they sure as hell better be virgins.

quite frankly, i find them flaunting their christian lifestyle in my face totally disgusting.

keep it to yourself, guys.

afterall, would hunky jesus be out there in skintights, accentuating his 'manhood'?
