dh wants a dryer that has a wrinkle cycle. we want energy and water efficiency, and are willing to invest in that. it also must stack. we have a maytag neptune that has served us well, but it has had it.

opinions?

3. Best washer and dryer I ever owned was Fisher & Paykel
I hate I let my ex have them but I moved to a place that already had the appliances. The washer was awesome - top loader that acted like a front loader and boy did it spin the water out of clothes - drying took no time at all. They have dryers that are both top load and front load.

http://www.fisherpaykel.com/

Ecosmart Washer - One of North America's most Energy Efficient Top Load Agitator Washer uses only 24% of the energy of a traditional washer. Complete the laundry in up to half the time of a frontloader, 1000rpm spin saves up to 30% time and energy in the dryer. This super capacity washer with unique brushless DC motor and smart electronics increases reliability with no belts, brakes, pulleys, clutches or gearboxes - parts that aren't there can't fail.

4. We love our LG washer
When our dryer dies, we'll buy LG again.

Front-load is energy and water efficient. Great load capacity. Easy to use and works great.
