Besides, no one really cares if a musician has a degree because it's not a guarantee of non-suckage.

I remember being shocked that the search committee actually READ my transcripts! I figured they were just like everybody else--just checking to see that I wasn't lying on the resume; but nope, they wanted to know.
So I'll be: eyepaddle MPH CHMM in about a month.

I once worked for a company that required such a thing. Also required we hang our degrees on the wall of our offices. I had to search long and hard for my diplomas. I guess they thought that the credentials appeased clients who paid big bucks for our services.
