The invasion of the Bee Girls
This one's about strange women who love their men to death, literally! Maybe the fact that there's a research facility doing top secret experiments might have something to do with the suspicious deaths.

Free download and its that bad or good depending if you like science mystery 3000

Nicholas Meyer also directed two of the star trek films

2. All of these movies are in the public domain because they screwed up
the copy write, too old or they let it pass.

Some really great films are there also, plus old TV shows.

Amazing place.

I love their film noir section and science fiction but
other areas are worth the search.

The downloads are virus free at least on my mac.

This film is worth downloading because its so bad its good

3. BTW..... the downloads can be superior to the flash version
Edited on Thu Oct-08-09 03:36 PM by Ichingcarpenter
So watch the data from where you can download and some of the comments

But you can still watch them without downloading it by watching it
their flash version

7. Not necessarily...
Some films manage to slip through the cracks into the Public Domain for other reasons, like Brando's "One Eyed Jacks." We acquired a top-notch print of "The Crawling Eye" and wrote/performed our own MST3K-style commentary. You can watch some trailers of it on the http://www.rifftrax.com/iriffs/dogknob-presents-trollenberg-terror-aka-crawling-eye-vod">RiffTrax website.

12. I only post stuff like this where...
...it feels relevant. Since we do political humor, I usually do one post in the lounge here to announce a new release, but occasionally while doing that I will find a similar post that is MST3K-related.

Otherwise you can find me in GD wondering why Rachel, Keith et al are ignoring the story about the GOP's efforts to shut down the Internet movement that helped bring our current President into office and get HCR on the table. The GOP is also trying to help Comcast in its efforts to own all of the cable-TV market. Comcast, http://www.mediapost.com/publications/?fa=Articles.showArticle&art_aid=114956">cocky from their recent victory over the FCC, is already systematically removing MSNBC from its basic service. We are in seriously in danger of Internet censorship on a scale you may or may not be able to imagine.

Try this on for size: one day you try to open DU and you instead get redirected to a page with an offer from your ISP to upgrade to their "premium" plan. It is dangerously close to happening and it is getting NO COVERAGE WHATSOEVER on MSNBC, possibly because of gag order from GE.

Our material occasionally attempts, in a comedic fashion, to raise awareness on issues such as this. I apologize for violating your personal definition of spam.

6. So it's the MST3K version?
You may not know this, but three of the cast members of that show started a company called RiffTrax where they sell "riffs" of films. Site members can post their own as well. We posted a new one this morning called "Habit Patterns." It's a short from the 50s that teaches teenage girls the finer parts of conformity.

We have another short up there, "Perversion for Profit," as well as a full-length feature "The Crawling Eye." Fans of this sort of thing can watch previews of all of these on the RiffTrax website

8. No, its the original release
I tend to look at most films through a MST3K eye.

This film rocks on its campy dialogue and tongue in cheek humor.
