And guess what? We have the same number for the humidity too. :eyes: + :tinfoilhat:

1. It's nice and cool here, the leaves are starting to change, too.
95 temp with 95 humidity? Sheesh that's nasty. :hi: Richardo! :loveya:

2. Ugh! Living in Houston would just kill me. My first time there - in mid June
it was approaching 3 figures in temp and humidity.

And, yeah, I drove to Pasadena in a car without a/c to see this - a big, floating oven:

5. June? Pasadena? No A/C?
I must say the cards were stacked against you.

...and isn't it amazing how small the USS Texas is? I was surprised. Those WWI-era battleships were dinky.

And you didn't mention the big battleground monument:

It's taller than the Washington Monument, you know. Because everything here HAS to be bigger - it's the law. Except the battleships.

6. I actually thought the ship was pretty big, but then again, I'm used to submarines...
Yes! I did see the monument too! And it is, indeed, big!

3. We're forcast to reach 92
also with high humidity. We've desperately needed the rain we've received, but it sure does make it feel like a swamp around here. On the up side, there's a front due later this week that will give us lows in the 50s. I've forgotten what 50s feel like. :P

I guess you can't argue with the weather. :D

4. It's gorgeous in Philadelphia, too (well, it's always sunny, right?)
Just hoping it will stay nice for kayaking in the pine barrens on Friday.....

7. That's fine with me.
I'd much rather that than have to deal with dying leaves and having to raid the closet for jackets and long sleeved shirts.
