Personally, it does not get any better in North America than the month of October. If you all can take a second, stroll outside where you are, take a quick picture, and post it here, that would be awesome. I would really appreciate seeing what it's like where you all are, right now.

I'm lucky...my office is right around the corner from here.

I'm not a big summer time fan of San Diego, simply because the beaches are packed and the massive influx of people scare away the birds, and leave their trash all around. The dowitchers and sanderlings are finally back here and hanging out with us.

June through mid-September, this is one of the busiest most crowded walks in Southern California. This is what it will like like until May of next year. It's actually very mellow and peaceful.
