My meds cost $90 per gram. Cocaine (I'm told) costs $100 per gram

i think cocaine, at least crack, is way cheaper than that in louisiana, but trust me, these people are not exactly having mental health week after they partake

in theory it would always be the case that the drug that works costs more than the drug that just pretends to work...

but trust me i hear your anger, i gave up my inhaler years ago because of costs...

2. Venlafaxine works quite well for me

My point is that "legit" drug companies can manufacture
meds for pennies per gram and sell it for many dollars.
Just like "other" drug dealers.

3. I figured that was your point--did you know that if you financially

qualify you can get your meds free from the drug companies? That's how I get my Abilify and Cymbalta.

Also remember that a gram is quite a lot of medication. My Lexapro is in doses of 10mg at a time. So making the comparison with cocaine is not apt. As for the claim that it only costs pennies to manufacture... Wrong again. Manufacturing of drugs is a highly skilled and expensive and long process. It isn't just a machine putting a pill in a bottle. :eyes: If you want to understand this look up GMP- good manufacturing practice sometime

True, 75 mg of cocaine would kill anyone. As to the manufacturing costs, I'll
take your advise. My OP was comparing weight-to-weight retail cost.
