My inlaws visited yesterday, and I made this eclectic menu for them
And it worked out quite well: Also, my mom in law got me a lovely prada purse, so now, I dont have to buy a new purse (yay!)

Crab Appetizers

Moroccan Spiced rack of lamb

Salmon in Safron, Wine, Cream, Garlic

Chicken Korma

Rice Pulao

Red Potates with Rosemary

Green Beans with Thyme

And a Reine De Saaba for dessert, which was ironically too rich :)

13. I've never had lamb, let alone spiced lamb...
I would really liked to have been there. I've never had lamb, let alone spiced lamb-- that sounds very appealing. The salmon sounds very nice too (it took me a moment to wrap my head around salmon *and* garlic-- but after some thought, I can see it happening). But I'm at a loss for the dessert-- just looked it up, chocolate and almond cake? Wow!!!!

And Here I am... about to chow down on what's left of last night's hamburger helper-- I feel so damned provincial now :P
