Easthampton! I know some of you live there, and...
somebody even answered this question before. Sorry, I forgot the answers.

Between Sag Harbor and Montauk, where can I get breakfast or lunch for less than 20 bucks? Under 10 would be better. Much better.

I get to Amagansett and Montauk every so often, and I'm usually pressed for time getting back. It's work, and I don't get reimbursed for meals, so I refuse to splurge and you ain't gonna catch me in Citarella anyway. Ain't gonna find me blowing 10 bucks on a cup of chowdah at those shacks on the dunes during the season, either. It's very good chowdah, and the lobster sammich was fine, too, but that was one time, and it ain't gonna happen again.

What I did today was stop at the Sag Harbor 7-11 and get a prefab sammich for 5 bucks and a free bag of chips came with it. It was on the way back to Shelter Island and I still had the afternoon to work, with little chance to eat anything on that Godforsaken rock.

What's down there better than a 7-11 sammich that won't embarass me when I read the menu? If there's a McDonald's or some such thing far enough west of the one in Southampton, I could do that. (Egg McMuffins at 2 for 3 bucks and the new coffee there is OK.)
