and he was just a kid wasn't he? Thanks for posting my boy Bruce and the rest of the E Streeters with Wilson...I have a friend that played 2 weeks at the Apollo with Pickett in about 1970. He was asked to formally join the band but said Pickett was into the "H" at that time and was OK when he had his supply but could be rather unpleasant to be around till he got his next batch, so my friend politely declined. He certainly looked happy and healthy on this video though ( of course it's 30 years later; I assume he cleaned up long before this, although I don't really know the when and the how etc.)
