Good morning Lounge
How are you today?

Seems like you enjoyed my pictures from Italy yesterday. :)

So far my week is quiet, not much going on, not much to tell. Is that a good or a bad thing?

1. Good morning
I'm feeling well, just another sleepless night is all. :)

I don't have much to say about what is going other then it's still really hot. It's been below 110 for a few days but expected to be 110+ for at least the next 2 days.

I have noticed I share local weather updates with you quite often for some reason I can't figure out considering you live many miles awhile. Anyways hope you have a good, eventful day. :hi:

:hi:  :loveya:

Sorry to hear that you can't sleep

Hmmmm ..... maybe you share the weather updates either to make me jealous or to make me feel better, considering the temps are in the lower 80s here and reasonable :)

4. I could take a dose of 80's considering I've been facing 100-115 all summer
I'm actually jealous of you but not during the wintertime :) I've never been a fan of the freezing cold. I bet you are enjoying the weather over there, I know I would be.

and it is fun to go skiing :) But I admit, I prefer summer. More fun and I can wear all my nice tops :D

3. I'm still working on good night, ma'am.
Trying to wind down from a horrible, horrible night at work.

And it's finally my Friday, after a ten-day stretch of nutso wacky can't-be-done-but-must-be-done silliness.

Tuscany looks looooovely!

7. good morning Miss HoneyChurch.
Your photographs are beautiful.

I'm up raring to go. Puppy walked, lunches made, showered, now drinking my coffee. Another 10 hr day ahead. I don't mind the overtime much. With my husband working a different shift than me, there's no worry about getting home to make his dinner.

I hope your days continue to be quiet :)

11. Good morning MissH!
Lovely picture.

So this is how my day started. I woke up early (which is not too unusual, but a bit annoying) and I started a pot of coffee. While packing my lunch I look over and notice that I forgot to put the coffee pot on the coffee maker. Needless to say, coffee was all over my counter. I hope the day gets better. ;)

Ugh .... definitely not the best way to start the day. I cross my fingers that your day gets better (do you know how hard it is to type with crossed fingers?)

Or get yourself one of these ...

13. Ohhhhhhh, I like that!
I used to have a French press that I used for tea, but alas, I broke it and did not replace it.

I simply ADORE kitchen gadgets/kitcheny things. I have to practice restraint every time I got into a kitchen supply store.

14. Good Afternoon, MissH!
I'm sorry about getting your monthly contest suggestion pulled. I'm feeling really bad about it, but the calendar contests (full of animals) is going to go up right after the September contest. I'm sorry.

Oh and quiet is definitely good!

:hi:  :loveya:

Don't worry, I understand. There will be other contests when we can use that topic. It is funny, I suggested that topic before and never had much response to it. Now, when it isn't possible the people vote for it. Go figure

So the calendar contests start soon. :woohoo: Are you going to do it like last year?

19. I'm still working out how I'm going to do them
We had more people submit this year, so I think there are going to have to be two sets of polls to narrow things down.

I've still got about 30 photos to go through to make sure they fit the technical specs, but otherwise, the majority of the hard work is done. :D

There are a lot of really good pics though...I don't know how people are going to choose. Seriously, I could put together about 10 different calendars with the submissions I got.

It is the soil that is quite grey, that makes it look like a desert from the distance. It is the area around Casciana Terme

Here is a pic when it is green (from the Internet)

Not much going on at the moment. The signs are out on the streets. But they don't have an influence on me. I already know who I will vote for.

I have no idea how that car was stolen. But I was annoyed by the so-called outrage by the media. Much ado about nothing to speak with Shakespeare.

I didn't know that there were still any left after the Romans defeated them and took over that part of Italy. I'd like to see those.

At least you have the weekend to look forward to. :D
