I just saw "The soloist"
Not a bad flick, but the very end kinda pissed me off. The movie, while showing what reasons are often behind a person's homelessness, was more about ONE homeless man and his friend.

However, at the end, out of the blue the throw up this stat about "there are 90,000 homeless people in Los Angeles." It was kinda like, "Uh, okay thanks."

I think the film's makers just did it to add an extra layer of sap onto the film and trick people into thinking they give a fuck.
