question about donating to DU via paypal

I've noticed that my "star" has disappeared, so I was trying to send a few meager bucks to DU using PayPal, with a Visa debit card.

I entered all the information, but PayPal balks at my "CSC." It says that VISA has a three-digit CSC on the back of the card. But my card doesn't have any such thing. It does have a four-digit code on the front of the card, though. But PayPal won't cooperate with me.

Anybody know the deal?

1. Your card should have a small box area

on the back with three numbers, usually quite small.

All cards have this security number.

3. mine doesn't have that

I swear. It does have the four digits on front, like AMEX.

I wonder if I enter it as an AMEX card?
