Request to the admins: I don't have a goddamn "Blackberry"...
Or what ever the hell they are called.

Just because I am technologically challenged does not mean that I should not have a way of knowing that someone has sent me a PM when I am away from my computer.

Can you guys work with the DU members who are doctors to create the following?

I'm thinking of something like a "PM liquid" that you would carry around in your shirt pocket.

Let's say you are out shopping or something, and you want to know if someone has sent you a PM.

You could put a few drops of this "PM liquid" into your navel, and if it starts to "bubble ferociously" after 5 seconds, it means that someone has sent you a PM.

C'mon, you guys are supposed to be smart, right?

Get to work on this.

Hurry up.

2. I Can Top That
I don't have cable, dish or a cell phone. It's a wonder I even have internet! I feeling texting is going backwards. WHy would anyone want to type on their phone?
We did not go into the new technology age screaming--we were pushed by the gadget mongers. Whatwas wrong with two cans and a string???? Want a new model? Open up another can of beans!

3. It takes me about a minute to text one word...
and I have to stand there like an idiot with my tongue poking out of the side of my mouth because I really have to concentrate.

6. Get an iPhone,
there's an app you can download called 'pmAlerter.' Every time you get a PM, your iPhone starts not only to vibrate, but will emit screeching sounds, smoke and cause a small earthquake around your GPS perimeters. It will give some low-level electrical shocks, too (depending on your battery status) - not only to yourself, but also to Steve Jobs, so he can stay in touch with your iPhone usage.

Yes, you will feel like this:
