I'm in Japan. Should I cause a ruckus in the hotel spa, eventually requiring the State Department?

Just wondering how far I could go, and what I would have to do to require an apology from no one less ranking than Hillary Clinton herself. And if I do, would I be on her shitlist forever, or might she then invite me to DC to come see her and Obama there?

Clinton: "Mr. President, this is the gentleman that caused your latest headache in Japan."

Mr. President: "Rabrrrrrr! So good to finally meet you. Love your rants on DU! Truly classic. Anyway, you owe us three and a half billion for the military intervention to save your ass, and as you know, you are banned from Japan - well, the bit of it remaining, that is - for the next 3000 generations. Have a beer?"

Rabrrrrrr: "Obama-san, that was precisely what started this thirteen year nightmare."

Mr. President: "Eh, what's a few hundred million lives in the face of a most beautifully executed hotel prank. Kanpai!"

Rabrrrrrr: "Kanpai!"

Hillary: "Kanpai!"

A bunch of Japanese in waders standing in a river of sludge in front of a background of utter destruction, their faces smeared with the blood of innocents and children, but laughing their asses off: "Kanpai!"

p.s. - obviously, this is a joke.

3. I'm surprised you haven't already.
I was expecting Obama to have to abandon this whole health care debate to fly to Japan to quell the rioting.

7. silly gaijin
Of course you should! The Japanese LOVE the opportunity to tell Ugly American stories. Like the time I was told about the drunk American who started screaming and ranting in a Shinjuku McDonald's because they wouldn't accept his US currency as payment. True story. How bitchin' would it be to see a Japanese person go bat shit crazy at a local Toyota dealership because they refused his/her Yen? I would LOVE that!

It would be nice to have a heated dispute with Japan that didn't involve our marines breaking the law on their soil. I say GO FOR IT!
