8/8/1809: Thick fogs all day. No observation. Saw a Schooner. Read Langhorne's Life of Plutarch, and began with Theseus.

8/9/1809: Fogs and a fresh breeze. Passed a Schooner. Lat: 43-29. Long: 61. Severe Squall while we were at dinner. http://is.gd/284zc (map)

Sure, it's boring as hell. But so was John Quincy. And so is every other twitterer.
