just when i thought the colorado division of unemployment couldn't be more aggravating, this happens

my benefits are about to run out and i need to talk to a human to see what my options are and if i qualify for the emergency extension. when i called, however, i was transferred to an automated system because all reps were busy and i wasn't even given the option to hold for a rep.

so it seems that my only option is to just keep dialing in the hopes that i get through to a real person :argh:

it's only gotten worse in the 18 months since i lost my job. i know they're overwhelmed right now, but it's so damn frustrating.

the only one is in denver and that's more than an hour away
