I hate this more than cleaning toilets.

That was one of my chores as a child. It sucked!

4. I always thought they were self cleaning.
I mean, the water is constantly on when you are using it.

5. I know! That's as dumb as washing towels. I only dry myself off when I'm clean anyway!

9. There is a male philosophy to cleaning:
if we can't see it, then it cannot be dirty. That's why most men would never think of moving a couch to clean behind it because if you cannot see it, then the dirt does not exist.

I once worked with a woman who bemoaned that her 5 year old son refused to make his bed because his idea was that he was just going to mess it up again that night, so why go through the bother? I told her that he was exhibiting perfect male logic.

(Oh, I clean my tub and shower once a month whether it needs it or not.)

6. I wouldn't know. That's manly work and not my job.

In our household, the person with the most body hair has to clean the bathtub/shower. It's a fair arrangement, if you ask me. :D

10. Yup, cleaning the toilet.
Those blue things never seem to work, so I always end up scubbing it.

12. Cleaning a bathtub that
someone with dementia decided to use after they filled the toilet and couldnt figure out how to flush? Been there done that, always recruiting.

Cleaning around a oily stove is worse. If there is tile its not so bad, but onto the paint, theres no way to really get that shit off. and up on the hood. I hate that far worse. My bathtub is annoying, but it only takes a little bit to clean, and all it is is basic scrubbing.

17. I second that.
Stinky stuff. Then there's the dust you inhale when you pour in fresh litter.

15. That's easy. I get my cleaning crap together, get naked and
climb in. Scrub it all down, then take a shower and rinse it all down. No sweat.

Now, I don't do it that way when I'm visiting my parents' house, mind you. Just in my own.

BTW, if you want to do your aging parents a big favor, do a thorough bathroom cleaning next time you visit. Folks in their 70s or 80s don't need to be doing that stuff anyhow. Don't ask. Just do it while they're taking a nap or something.

18. Out here by the beach, I have to clean the window frames
or we get mold. The aluminum channels are hard to reach, it takes forever and if you're not careful, you can spread mold all over the world.
