Are female college students reptiles?
I ask this because almost every girl I know at my college brings either a hooded sweatshirt or blanket to everyone of my classes because of the AC. "Oh Jesus, it's a frigid 74 degrees in here, maybe if I light a flare the artic rescue team will spot us and we won't die of exposure."
:eyes:

1. It is well known
that the female of the human species has a "comfort range" of approximately .5 degrees Fahrenheit. This tolerance lessens as they mature.

3. I work in an air-conditioned building
in tropical Darwin and sometimes the airco is so low, I have to put a jumper on. I joke that usually you get into the airco to get out of from heat, but here you get into the heat to get out of the airco. Most of my colleagues also have a jumper at work. More women than men wear them, but then there are more of them.

4. No longer a college girl, but I've always been the opposite.
Always fighting with my coworkers and bedmates over the AC because if it's over 75F outside, I need serious refrigeration to stay smart and non-hostile. I fail as a half-Brazilian: I got my climate preference from the Viking/British Isles side of the family. My ideal weather is cloudy, damp, and about 55F, I try to replicate that at all times.

Now, in the WINTER here (I live in Chicago) I like to sleep with thick blankets, a snuggly man, and a pile of cats. (But you still won't catch me turning the heat much above 60; I'm expensive in the summer, a cheap date in the winter.)

The only exception is bath-time - I have Ranaud's Phenomenon, so I have to be warm in the bathroom or else I get scary yellowy-white zombie fingers. Ick.

I can finally get to sleep now.
