4. Love the bookshelves...
And the top two stadium ones have pretty interesting contrast for the sky. Are you using a red filter outdoors?

Great work, Ava. :applause:

6. thanks! i love sitting in my papa's library
he has so many books!

i wasn't using any filter on the cameras. i had my camera while visiting my grandparents. one day the weather seemed perfect for black and white photos, so i hopped on a bike and rode over to the abandoned football stadium to take a few photos. :)

9. i do too.. i've taken a few
but since i've only just started working with the camera i find that stationary objects are helping me learn more in a short amount of time about exposure and focus.

a couple pics of people that i've taken -
http://www.peacetakescourage.com/blog/?p=50

i've taken a few more, but i don't feel comfortable posting photos of faces on the net. one of these is of the hands and the other is a profile shot.

12. I love all the shadows in your photos. You can't get that with color photography.
When I had a camera I was strictly an automatic camera person.

8. You've got a good "eye" for black and white.
I like the way the clouds in those first two shots make them seem dramatic.

17. I Use Photoshop (7.0) To Scan Images...
That way you can make any adjustments before you save them. If you don't have Photoshop (which is crazy if you're into photography) you can find the older versions pretty cheap.

I like your pics by the way!
