There is a scene in which he screws a drunk, unconscious woman. The woman comes to for a short bit and tells him to keep fucking her. implying that it's OK to have sex with women if they are unconscious. Caused a big huge flame-war in GD 3 months ago that left me horrified by all the posters claiming the scene wasn't rape, especially since a close friend of mine was raped a week before that thread was started I still haven't forgiven a certain poster's defending of date rape in that thread.

But just because he portrays a (possible) rapist doesn't mean he promotes the act itself or misogyny, no more than Robert De Niro promotes misogynistic sociopaths in Taxi Driver or Ralph Fiennes promotes Nazism in Schindler's List. You have to separate actors from their performances.

And he didn't write or direct the movie, so his involvement is limited.
