3. I think that Sellers mildly flubs a line in that scene, and it briefly trips up Hayden

Mandrake asks "When did you first be--, well, develop this theory?"

Ripper replies "Well, I first became aware of it during the physical act of love."


IMO Sellers started to give Hayden's line but caught himself, and he and Hayden were able to continue the scene to Kubrick's satisfaction.

I've never read anything about this truly trivial piece of trivia, but I think about it every time I watch this excellent film.
