What about this Sirius stuff?
Hmmm . . . . So I got this 6-month free satellite radio subscription with my new car, I am such a great car researcher I didn't even know about the satellite radio til i had the car . . . and I decided to check it out online and tonite I subscribed to adding the internet radio portion to the subscription for $2.99 a month.

Not being a TV person, this is going to be pretty fun. I am tuned into a 'real jazz' station and I could SIRIUSLY go to sleep with this playing all night instead of my usual . . . . doomsday talk radio favorites.

Kewl, man! ~~~; ) long as the price is right . . . .

It would be nice to know who's playing when I hear something I like, though.

1. I don't know how I got along without Sirius in my semi
I love rock-n-roll and I've got 5 different genres of it on my receiver's pre-sets. I've had either XM or Sirius for the past 3 years and I like the uncensored, commercial-free music. I pay about $160 a year for the service and it is worth every penny and then some. It makes my nights out there on the road go so much nicer and faster.

2. That sat radio usually broadcasts the name of the song and artist
you should look to see if you can see it on your radio (check your manual)

3. I have sirius on my television
with my Dish subscription. I love that it shows the name of the song and who is playing. If your car radio has the capability, it should display on your radio.

4. I think they do show on the radio dial.
I am listening to it at home on the computer and some of the 'real jazz' channel I'd really like to know who it is I am listening to. Maybe there is a way. I am sure enjoying this. In fact I find I am much more interested in it at home than in the car, but I have grown to like turning on the comedy channel when I get off work to unwind to.

The Grateful Dead channel rocks!!!

It's just like opening a brand-new box of chocolates! ; ) and ya kin pick any one ya want!

6. I've had XM (now part of SiriusXM) for years now
Hooked up to the stereo and in my car....but not in the minivan we take on those long trips.

7. I can't imagine being without it.
I hear so much good music on the stations I listen to (with no commercials!) that I can never listen to local, regular radio station. Radio sucks everywhere but it really sucks here.

Mine has a display that gives the title and artist. Yours should too, especially if it is one of those built into the car.

8. Great stuff! Had XM in my last car, Sirius in this one.
Lots of variety, no commercials. Play it online now and again too. Broadcast radio is dead to me.

9. Look for "Q", "As It Happens" and "Vinyl Tap". All Canadian CBC shows that are great.
