Why would you put a pig femur in a bush?

This is a strange end to our painful house hunt odyssey and start of our home ownership adventure. While looking around our just-purchased new house, I discovered that the previous owner at some point had tossed an intact pig femur behind a bush. Judging from the depth of leaves it's a few years old. How weird.

Almost as weird is the single strand of copper wire randomly run around the shed, house, and part of the property line. Just 1 strand so it wasn't for powering anything.

that didn't get chewed? Or perhaps they had a pig roast, and that part got tossed aside in drunken satiation?

As for the wire, everyone knows that copper repels poltergeists...

That would be awesome. I've spooled up most of the wire (hey, free wire!), I will see if furniture gets mysteriously flung at me.

4. That strand of wire may have been a homemade antenna for a TV or radio.

I once had a similar setup inside an apartment, for my TV.
It worked remarkably well.

And when the pig ran away, they just ignored the smell coming from the bushes.

Most people aren't too skilled in skeletal analysis. Wire may have been for an electric fence? Or a lead to one.
