Poll question: Should I Drive or Take a Cab?
Going to a party tonight - about 12 miles away. Got my buzz on and have been offered a ride THERE. Problem is we (my friend and I) have no ride back. Should I just suck it up and spend $30 on a cab or should I just drive and "drink in moderation?"

2. Not even worth questioning....
take a cab, enjoy yourself.

A $30 cab ride vs. a $5,000 possible DUI. Easy.

3. TAXI!
Definitely the safest bet. You never know how the night will go - you may end up drinking more than you intended, and you don't want to drive home in that situation. The price of the cab is much cheaper than the price of an accident.

5. Seems to be the thing to do these days, isn't it?
Believe it or not, I personally know of a situation where a drunk guy, nicknamed "Termite", had his 12 yr. old live-in girlfriend's son drive him home from a bar, because he was too drunk. What the hell gets in to people?

6. Get the 11 year old...
drunk and then have them drive you home. Oh wait, is that missing the point entirely here?

9. oh, just drive
that way you have a car outside in case you get lucky and need somewhere to go...

on the other hand, save the 5,000 grand for the DUI and the guilt of killing someone while drunk, and just get a really, really nice hooker. so go with the cab.
