Saw some sweet Middle Eastern/Surf tinged guitar work last night in Boston.
Sir Richard Bishop played and the guy is damned impressive (and super friendly to shoot the shit with as well). A good time was had by all.

A couple vids my friend took. I promise this isn't my usual musical madness. It's very mellow and relaxing. Seriously. :)

2. Well, we didn't get there until 10:30.
We meander a lot when we go out. And there's also the fact that when I'm at a show you might as well talk to a wall, because it will pay more attention than I do. I stake out me territory and zone out to the music big time. I'd love to meet you, but if we plan on actually speaking to one another it'll have to somewhere other than a show. :D

5. He was in a band called the Sun City Girls for about 3 decades.
When the drummer died a couple years ago of cancer that ended them, but both Richard Bishop and his brother Alan both have separate projects. Alan's is way out there, Richard's is pretty mellow and nice.
