Lawmakers Confront Gaps in Aviation Safety Net
Rep. Jean Schmidt , R-Ohio, is drafting a bill that would create a national database that would allow airlines to check pilots’ safety backgrounds.

Jean Schmidt????

This gave me an idea. Airplanes should carry safety nets, that way if they fall out of the sky, then there will be a safety net like for the flying Wallendas.( in my opinion they don't have any business being up there anyway)

Good idea? Please feel free to comment.
