What would you do? (Part II)

So anyway, after I left Rebe's I spent the night in SLO, then I went and goofed off in San Mateo county for a while.

I had previously made plans to arrive at my "friend" Davinna's house on Saturday after leaving Rebe's.

I birded my way over to Davinna's house from San Mateo, 'cause I figured it would be rude to leave her sitting there all day waiting for me. (I hadn't had e-mail since I left Shannon's.) I left a note on her door at noon telling her I'd be back at 5.

I got back to Davinna's at 4:45 (cutting my birding trip to Coe State Park WAY short to make it on time), and Davinna wasn't there. My note was totally undisturbed. I waited for two and a half hours and she hadn't shown up.

A few hours later I got an e-mail she had sent saying that she was going to be running errands on Saturday.

What would you do? :shrug:

3. Go to the cell phone store and get myself a cell phone

even if you have to get one of those disposable models. I just can't see a trip like this with out the ability to communicate with everyone.

Beyond that I think I would consider the trip a bust and just head out on my own.

Well at that point, I think I would have waited a few more hours and if nothing happens seriously considering calling it a trip.

She knew I was coming on saturday, and if she couldn't be bothered to show up at her house any time in a 7 hour period to either meet me there or get my note, then fuck her.

Can get a basic phone for under $20 and just buy airtime as you need it.

The point is that my "friends" are complete bitches who couldn't be bothered for a single goddamn second after I literally drove 3/4 of the way across the state to hang out with them.

It's 522 miles from my house to Santa Barbara, and it's another 279 miles to San Jose from there.

What a complete fucking waste of time.
