Where can I buy a thermostat?
I need to buy a thermostat to hang in my room but I realized I've never bought one before in my life. Where do I go? Target?

2. a thermometer or thermostat?
thermometer can be bought at a grocery store, hardware store, Target, etc.

a thermostat can be bought at a hardware store, Target has them (but not good prices and no selection), or a big box home center (Lowe's for example).

3. It's gotta be hooked up, you know...
make sure you get the right kind. The electronic ones can save you a lot of money by only kicking on when you need heat or cool.
