10. I saw an animated documentary that showed they do but not at the US embassy.
They flush "the American way" at the embassy.

However, the clockwise/anti-clockwise thing is a myth as it applies to sinks, basins, and toilets.


I once worked at a restaurant that had the standard three-sink setup. Two of the sinks drained clockwise, while the other drained clockwise sometimes and sometimes counter-clockwise.

We were nowhere near the equator, by the way.
