Does anybody own a newer honda civic 4 door si?
i'm already making plans to get rid of my current beloved major pain in the ass beetle convertible before the warranty is up and i'm trying to figure out my next car, i've owned an Accord and i don't want another one, too big, and i like the mini cooper s but the mini dealer is way the hell up in some town i always get confused with another and i go the wrong way so screw that. I also want car i can put a bike rack on and with current one i'm afraid if i put anything on it the front will fall off.

i'm thinking sedan because i'm kind of tired of 2 doors but i would consider the coupe if back rack is doable.

Please and thank you.

1. The Si? Don't own one, but I love pulling up next to them at stoplights.
Not that I street race, as that would be irresponsible.

If you're going to get performance import at that price point, you must drive the Mazdaspeed 3.

As for the bike rack, the bike easily fits inside.

i'd still rather mazda bring back the rx7 and lose the rx8.

Does the mazda speed come with a stick, you know me, no stick no buy.

3. Only available with a 6 speed manual.
No auto, no silly flappy paddle gearbox. A clutch and a stick. They redesigned the front bumper this year, so I'm not as much in love with the 2010 model.

It's a really comfy, well built car, and on the inside it feels bigger than it is. And with almost 100 more horsepower than the Si...

And the boost...the turbo is so sweet.

5. The Mazda breakdown is like this
There's the Mazdaspeed 3 (5 door hatch) and the Mazdaspeed 6 (4 door sedan, more expensive, 4 wheel drive, slower).

There's the Mazda 5 which is sort of like a small minivan.

So there's the 5, and the 3 which is a 5 door hatchback.

The 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 looks like this:

6. at their website you can't build a 2010 one of those, they still hve 2009.
which is oky because they have the specs nd that's the only thing i really needs right now, after i compare that with a few other cars i'll figure out what i want to test drive.

7. I like the looks of the 2009 better.
The '07 (mine) through '09 all look the same. Might be able to get a better deal on a leftover 09, too. The specs on the 09 and 10 are virtually the same, they just redid some of the body.

8. i'm not sure hen i'm dumping Morticia, part of me really wants it's to work you know and
hand the keys over to my daughter in 2 years but the other part of me worries that once the warranty is gone she's going to cost a lot to keep up and then i have the added worry of the girl getting stuck on the side of the road. I can't believe that a 2 year old car can be such a nightmare. I think that;s the other reason why i'm leaning away from the mini, it just looks like it may be a problem down the road.

remind me please to never buy another car based on "It's so cute and i always wanted one!!!"

swear i've learned my lesson this time.

9. The "it's so cute...always wanted one" works IF
you have another car for primary transport. I think VWs are hit or miss. I know a ton of folks with Jettas that never have real problems. My attorney had a Golf TDi some time ago and he hated that thing. One of the reasons I didn't even really consider the VW GTi when I bought my Mazda was my opinion on VW reliability. Plus, being German-ish you know they'll be more expensive to fix once they're out of warranty.

10. you know i warned by the internet and many people in real life before i bought it
My Dad (damn him!) gave me soooo much shit and he knew because he owned many vw's but gave up after the last Scirocco came off the line. I have no one to blame but myself, i had the info but i figured mine would be different.
