My new computer is DAMNED nice for posting on DU!

I just got it yesterday. It's pretty trick (for ME - my other one is way, way, WAY oldschool, soon to be formatted and running FreeBSD), although if I'd had the money I would have built a WAY trick box from the ground up. I couldn't build one comparable to the one I've got now - so building one is again on the back burner.

Even my internet seems WAY faster - but that's only because my browser is much more "snappy", obviously not because of an internet speed increase.

Speaking of internet speed increase - I am also looking forward to having my dsl bumped up to a meg, since I can really utilize it on the new puter.

YAY - 1 meg service, $10/month. Working at your ISP can REALLY come in handy at times. :D Just gotta wait for some new equipment to come in so I can get my DSL moved off the crappy AFC equipment and onto the Paradyne. For now, I'll suffer with regular dsl speeds - and save the few remaining Paradyne ports for "paying" customers.

Anyway - It's a pleasure to use my home computer now!
