Um, at this point my mind is drawing a blank. I suppose if was between my cats and George Clooney the cats would have to wait. Outside of that I'm drawing a big blank!

21. Mu aunt.
That's it. I can buy new of everything else if need be. I'd hate to let my guitars go, but the living things in this house rely on me. So, I would have to save them first. Then, I'd go for the computer and the guitars.

All the two legged's can get themselves out, I'd grab the 2 cats and four dogs though.

edit: sorry zanne, I meant to post this to the OP - I was on the same page as you and just started typing without looking where I was. :7

26. any human beings (possible exceptions being dick cheney, et al)
after that it would depend on the situation - a house fire might be a tossup between them and the hard drive
a lot of really important "stuff" all in one location there
I can solve this by putting a back-up in some other place. Right now my back up copies are just a few feet away in a cupboard.

29. heh!
My roommate is now pissed off at me because I told her I'd save her cats, my book collection, then my laptop and if there was time, I'd come back for her.

She's an objectivist, I thought she'd understand. When it's people drowning in NO or TX from hurricane-flooding she says "Screw 'em, every gal for themselves!" but when it's her we're talking about suddenly we're supposed to care about other people's well-being.

(I'd actually save her first because I value life and she's capable of carrying the cats. I do love pointing out her hypocrisy to her...except that she sees nothing hypocritical in her worldview. It's perfectly rational and normal to blame victims. :eyes:)

First the people and the pets, then the photographs.

The rest can be replaced.
