I'm sick and tired of hearing about this issue

I just want it to go away

For those who don't agree with me, I'm adding a few inflammatory comments that you can react angrily to

Please kick and recommend if you agree with me

4. Fort Peck Investigations

The Fort Peck study was uniquely challenging. Located in northeastern Montana on the upper Missouri River, the site provided a variety of soil and geological conditions. A board of consultants that included Casagrande, Seed, Nuttli, and Slemmons reflected the importance of the project. The investigation, which did not conclude until 1975, may have represented the most thorough evaluation of a Corps structure ever performed.

15. hmm
Marcuson then coordinated a WES program of field work and lab investigations that
concentrated on testing soils from the dam site. In a six-month project, personnel
obtained materials representative of the dam and its foundation in order to determine
their in situ properties. Borings up to 300 feet deep supplied undisturbed samples,
with drilling crews using a sampling device developed by Hvorslev in the 1940s.
Laboratory tests at WES subjected samples to traditional triaxial shear tests in
addition to cyclic triaxial compression tests. Cyclic triaxial testing, in common use
by the early 1970s, employed a regular triaxial testing machine with an attached pneumatic
device that applied regulated cyclic loads to the encased sample. In an attempt to replicate
dynamic earthquake loadings, cyclic triaxial tests were capable of producing liquefaction
in samples, thus providing information concerning the liquefaction potential of soils under testing.

Andrew Jackson (March 15, 1767 – June 8, 1845) was the seventh President of the United States (1829–1837). He was military governor of Florida (1821), commander of the American forces at the Battle of New Orleans (1815), and eponym of the era of Jacksonian democracy. A polarizing figure who dominated American politics in the 1820s and 1830s, his political ambition combined with widening political participation, shaping the modern Democratic Party.<1>
