Miss USA Pageant 2010 to Add New Competition

The Miss USA Pageant is pleased to announce that, due to the excellent publicity garnered by Miss California 2009, Carrie Prejean, the 2010 Pageant will add a new competition. Recognizing that the public has an intense interest in the mammary appendages of our contestants, this new competition is expected to result in higher ratings for the television production in 2010.

Contestants will participate in what the Miss USA organization calls a "Wet T-shirt Competition" as the final competition of the pageant. This will be a freestyle competition, inspired by similar events in Cancun during Spring Break holidays.

This competition will be an added event. The Evening Gown, Swimsuit, and Talent Competitions will continue to be an integral part of choosing future Miss USA winners. We feel certain that the addition of the Wet T-shirt Competition will enable contestants to display some of their best assets, with the buckets of water thrown on them providing an essential cleanliness to the proceedings.

We hope our loyal fans will join us in anticipation of this new feature of the Miss USA 2010 pageant, which will appear on the Fox Family Netword in May, 2010.

I didn't think Miss USA had a talent competition. I thought that was just the almost as hideous Miss America pageant.
