6. Then go!
I know... it is very expensive. If you can, find a way. There are some good deals out there right now.

7. How I wish.
Times are tough right now, unemployed for 4 months with no prospects in sight. The construction industry is suffering horribly here. I can't even get any side work. Those Hawaiian dreams are on hold for at least another year.

Hitching on the island is easy and the buses are free on the Big Island. You can find work or do work/stay at organic farms. It's friggin awesome. Don't go now though wait til mainland autumn to go. The place is so fucking chill you'll wonder why you didn't go there ten years earlier. The first time you see it it's like paradise. Don't go to O'ahu though

9. 10th picture with black sand is at Kealakekua Bay across from the Cook monument.
I recognize that cliff. The next, is that Keii near Napo'opo'o? The one from the air has to be Kahakai State Park, long drive across black lava field to get to a few sandy beaches.

13. Yes, about Kealakekua Bay
The other beach pic was Hapuna. The trail was when we got lost walking in the Waiokoloa area... a very long walk with flip flops! lol

15. Pictures should have people in them
I love Hawaii. Great pics but that would be my emphasized advice. We've got 40 years of family vacation photos and after reviewing them recently the ones that stood out include the loved ones, without exception, regardless of what they are doing in the photo or what they looked like at the time. You wonder why you snapped so many pictures of now-irrelevant flowers and water falls and canyons and structures...

16. My dear Haole Girl!
Ooh, those are gorgeous!

I especially like the 6th shot of all the flowers, and the last one, the sunset!

But they're all beautiful!

Thanks, sweetie...

I know where your heart is...

24. IMO, Kauai & Big Island are the best
The volcano park on Big Island is amazing place, could spend a week there....Green Sand Beach on the southern tip is fun place to spend day, quite an adventure just getting there!...

And this trail is a must when in Kauai, even if you only go 2 miles (one way) in to Kee Beach (I think that's its name) you'll take in some awesome views....
